Meet the team
Our personal experiences with aging connects us across generations — from a retired doctor and peer, to a son supporting a newly independent mother while grieving the loss of a father, to a daughter embracing the value of multi-generational support.
We find existing solutions are failing to adapt to the evolving needs of adults who want to age in their home. We started this company to fill in the gaps we saw and provide options to empower adults who live independently.
Our start came from technology developed to support WLLO Village members in West Linn-Lake Oswego area. That pilot served over 40 users and created an enhanced sense of connection, reassurance and confidence in daily life. We want everyone to feel that way.
Our diverse Portland-based team comprises of former Nike and Intel technologist, medical doctor and experienced entrepreneurs who are passionate about building tools to empower rather than alarm and promote independence rather than signal dependency.
